Madai

Pachmarhi

           Pachmarhi is a hill station in Madhya Pradesh state of central India. It has been the location of a cantonment (Pachmarhi Cantonment) since British Raj. It is widely known as Satpura ki Rani ("Queen of Satpura"), situated at a height of 1100 m in a valley of the Satpura Range in Hoshangabad district. Dhupgarh, the highest point (1,350 m) in Madhya Pradesh and the Satpura range, is located here. It is 120 KMs from the itarsi city & around 3 Hrs 4 min beautiful journey.

           Some of the places of tourist interest here are: Rajat Prapat, Bee Fall, Bada Mahadev, Gupt Mahadev, Chauragarh, Dhupgarh (the highest peak of the Satpuras and Madhya Pradesh), Jatashankar, Pachmarhi Hill (whole view of Pachmarhi City)




Salkanpur

           Salkanpur Temple is located in Sehore district near Budhni, Salkanpur Temple is at a distance of 70 km from Bhopal by road and nearest railway station is Hoshangabad which is on the Bhopal- Itarsi route. Salkanpur temple is devoted to goddess Durga and the presiding deity here is Ma Durga Beejasan one of the incarnation of the goddess Durga. It is a very old Temple but at the present temple renovates by Salkanpur trust. Salkanpur Temple is situated on an 800 ft high hillock and has more than 1000 stairs. There is also Ropeway service tourist can easily reach. And also reach from the approach road from back side of the temple. How to reach : Salkanpur Temple is located in near Rehti village Dist. Sehore Madhya Pradesh. Salkanpur is 25 km from Hoshangabad Railway Station. 45 km from Itarsi Railway station.There are around 1024 stairs to reach the beautiful temple. People can see the wonderful views from that height. Also have the facility of Ropeway to reach the temple at affordable price.




Bhojpur

           Bhojpur is a town of historical and religious importance in Raisen District of Madhya Pradesh, India. Bhojpur is famous for the incomplete Bhojesvar temple dedicated to Shiva. The temple houses one of the largest li?ga-s in India, 5.5 m (18 ft) tall and 2.3 m (7.5 ft) in circumference. It is crafted out a single rock. It is around 75 KMs from the city Itarsi Some of the places of tourist interest here are: Jain Mandir, Main Temple & Idol, Bhojesvar Temple, Quarries and Rock drawings and many more.




Tawa Dam

           The Tawa Dam offers a scenic escape from the hustle bustle of city life. It is set amidst lush greenery, and offers much scope for adventure. Sunsets viewed from the dam are especially enchanting. Even more enchanting is the lake cruise, which takes you on a serene hour-long ride along the dreamy little islands dotting the reservoir and the panoramic hills of the Satpura to Churna. It is around 25 KMs far from Itarsi.




Narmada

           The city is famous for its beautiful ghats along the banks of the Narmada river, Sethani ghat is a major attraction. There are colourful celebrations in the city on Narmada Jayanti. During celebrations this year the CM announced the efforts to rename the town. A Satsang Bhavan on the ghat has regular visits by Hindu saints who hold regular religious discourses on Ramcharitmanas and Geeta. Narmada river is one of the holy river of India. It is around 20 KMs from Itarsi & 25 minutes journey by train & Bus.




Delawadi
